Petitgrain
Aids sleep, SAD, acne, dandruff and feeling run down.
This oil is from the leaves of the orange tree. Use petitgrain if you suffer from sleeplessness caused by loneliness and unhappiness, if you are suffering from depression particularly if you feel lonely and if you suffer from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) this oil will help to perk you up.
For skin care this oil helps with the over production of sebum (which makes your skin oily) and it is antiseptic. So if you suffer from acne add 2-4 drops of petitgrain to some witch hazel, soak some cotton wool pads in the witch hazel and use to wipe your face.
If you have oily dandruff add a few drops of petitgrain to the final rinse water.
For a relaxing bath combine petitgrain with Lavender - ideal in the evening before going to bed.
If you are run down or recovering from an illness, particularly if accompanied by depression using petitgrain oil will help.
