Mandarin

Although more of a sedative oil than a stimulant, mandarin's refreshing aroma has an uplifting quality, used to banish depression and anxiety, and to create a relaxed and happy atmosphere.  Particularly useful for young children, pregnant women and the frail and elderly. 

Mandarin's ability to calm, soothe and promote feelings of happiness can help reduce insomnia caused by stress and anxiety.  It also helps improve a poor appetite following illness or depression and can relieve symptoms of flatulence and indigestion.  In addition it can be helpful for relieving fluid retention and Pre-Menstrual Symptoms.

It is also excellent for the skin, preventing stretch marks and reducing scarring

This oil works well when used with Lemongrass.
