Lemon

This is a wonderfully versatile oil .Use it to ward off germs and put it in a burner when colds and flu are present to prevent the spread of bacteria.  It also stimulates the immune system, which will help fight off infection.

If you are dealing with a nasty cut put a drop of lemon into water to clean the cut as it naturally slows bleeding down and is a powerful antiseptic.

When you need to concentrate ie studying, driving or using the computer etc use 4 drops of lemon oil in the burner.  In Japan it was proved that computer operators made 75% fewer mistakes.

For the circulation it has a tonic effect, it can be used to treat varicose veins, poor circulation, high blood pressure, arthritis and fluid retention.  Add 4 drops to your bath or 2 drops to 5ml of vegetable carrier oil.

If you suffer with constipation use 2 drops to 5ml of carrier oil and use to massage your stomach.

Lemon is astringent which is extremely good for greasy skin & is useful for acne, warts, verrucae & cold sores.  Don't use neat on skin, mix it with a vegetable carrier oil or with a skin product.
