After a long hard day when you are suffering from stress-induced fatigue getting into a warm bath with Cypress oil is excellent and very effective.
Cypress oil in the bath will also effectively relieve piles and bladder irritation.
Mix Cypress oil with vegetable oil and use to massage your abdomen if you suffer from heavy periods this will also ease stomach cramps.
If you have oily skin add Cypress oil to a plain moisturiser and apply to the skin. Alternatively place 1-2 drops in a bowl of very hot water and place a towel over your head whilst leaning over the bowl so that you get the benefit of the steam vapours.
Cypress is a good antiseptic oil so it can be used for first aid. Mix 5 drops of lemon, 5 drops of tea tree and 6 drops of Cypress into 25ml of Grapeseed oil.
For rheumatism and aching limbs add 4-6 drops added to a tablespoon of a carrier oil or milk and add to your bath.
For pain relief make up a massage oil using 2 drops of Cypress oil in 10ml of a carrier oil and use it to massage the affected area. This oil will also help to stimulate circulation which is useful to help aches and pains.
Use Cypress in an oil burner to create a fresh and energising aroma that will also repel insects.
