CYPRESS (Cupressus Sempervierens)

Used for Stress, piles, water infections, heavy periods, aches and pains and rheumatism.

After a long hard day when you are suffering from stress-induced fatigue getting into a warm bath with Cypress oil is excellent and very effective.

Cypress oil in the bath will also effectively relieve piles and bladder irritation.

Mix Cypress oil with vegetable oil and use to massage your abdomen if you suffer from heavy periods this  will also ease stomach cramps.

If you have oily skin add Cypress oil to a plain moisturiser and apply to the skin.  Alternatively place 1-2 drops in a bowl of very hot water and place a towel over your head whilst leaning over the bowl so that you get the benefit of the steam vapours.

Cypress is a good antiseptic oil so it can be used for first aid.  Mix 5 drops of lemon, 5 drops of tea tree and 6 drops of Cypress into 25ml of Grapeseed oil.

For rheumatism and aching limbs add 4-6 drops added to a tablespoon of a carrier oil or milk and add to your bath.

For pain relief make up a massage oil using 2 drops of Cypress oil in 10ml of a carrier oil and use it to massage the affected area.  This oil will also help to stimulate circulation which is useful to help aches and pains.

Use Cypress in an oil burner to create a fresh and energising aroma that will also repel insects.

Wheat bags

Wheat bags are wonderful to use to ease aches & pains, the combination of the warmth & lavender which reduces inflammation.

Wheat bags have been used as an alternative therapy for many years. Wheat has a unique cellular structure which can absorb heat or cold quickly and then release it evenly. This makes a wheat bag a wonderful and safe alternative to a hot water bottle. The relaxing and calming properties of lavender are well known.  Simply heat in a microwave on full heat for 2 minutes (times vary) to provide warm and soothing comfort or alternatively cool in the fridge if you prefer.

Made with thick corduroy and available in a choice of 4 colours, red ,green, pink & grey.

Head ache roller ball

Relieves headaches, migraines, hangovers

Travel sickness

Simply roll onto your temple to get fast relief from head aches. I have found when I have been doing talks & demonstrations, that if any one in audience has a head ache they come to me at end & say the headache has gone. What I like about this roller is it is a natural way to treat a head ache as it only contains lavender, peppermint oil in grape seed oil. So there are no side that you get with taking pain killers, i.e. tummy problems.                Migraines use the roller as soon as you feel the symptoms coming on.

 Hangovers if you can roll onto your temples before going bed, you will better for it the next day. The roller relieves the symptoms of the raging head ache;

Also the peppermint settles your tummy. You can reapply in the morning, if you have had a heavy night.

Travel sickness this is fantastic if you apply this to your temples to settle quesney .I like to apply it to a flannel or tissue then sniff. This works really well for sea sickness as well.  £3.00
