Children Essential Oils
Lavender is an excellent safe oil use for sleeplessness, relieve pain, eczema, insect repellent, good for coughs colds & flu, colic, nappy rash
Mandarin is called the ‘Happy oil’ in France used widely for children. Use it to help children sleep, put it in a burner at a party to induce a calm atmosphere, ideal to use when you are feeling irritated with your children.
Myrtle use this when your child has a cold, stuffy blocked nose & this affecting their sleep. Put 2 drops of oil onto a hanky under there pillow to ease breathing & aid sleep.
Methods of Use
Bath when using for a child essential oils should be added to a vegetable carrier oil, honey (particularly good for eczema/ psoriasis) or full fat milk. Add 1 to 3 drops of essential oil to a dessertspoon of your chosen carrier oil.
On a tissue use 2 drops, this is a very good way to ensure a good nights sleep, make sure the tissue isn’t left by their eyes.
Oil burner up to 4 drops.
Massage use 1 drop of oil to 5ml of carrier oil, grape seed is the best carrier oil, as it won’t cause an allergic reaction, like wheatgerm or sweet almond may.
1 bottle each of the essential oils of Lavender, Mandarin and Myrtle all of which are ideally suited for use with children.
