Bergamot
Sweet and fruity Bergamot is named after the Italian city of Bergamo in Lombardy, Italy where this oil was first sold. It is the oil that imparts the unusual flavour to Earl Grey tea.
Bergamot has been used in Italian folk medecine for many years, renowned for its pronounced effect on infections.
Bergamot has a cooling, uplifting and calming effect, excellent for anxiety and nervous tension. Its refreshing qualities are excellent for stress related conditions.
Bergamot works well on the digestive tract, easing dyspepsia, colic, indigestion and loss of appetite.
